You couldn’t have chosen a more exciting time to consider a career in finance with British Airways. With a brand that inspires both affection and recognition the world over, we’re building a world class future based on unrivalled insight, expertise and passion.
Finance is at the heart of British Airways. As business leaders and strategic advisors, our finance team use their commercial acumen, driving forward initiatives that deliver value to the business.

Joining our finance graduate scheme, you’ll begin a remarkable journey. If you are focused, driven and have the passion and imagination to serve alongside our team, we’ll support and mentor you – and offer you unparalleled opportunities to learn and succeed.

Our offer to you
The British Airways finance graduate scheme will equip you with a complete range of financial and management capabilities, developing you from a talented graduate to a future business leader and strategic advisor.

The programme offers you three one-year placements, with high levels of responsibility and accountability, where you will experience the full range of what we do – from developing proposals to purchase new aircraft to partnering with the business to enhance the on-board customer experience - we influence every aspect of the business. Additionally, you will play a key role in influencing senior management decision-making; focus on supporting our global operations and commercial areas of the business, as well as driving insight and innovation to ensure we deliver our strategy and vision.

Your training and development

Our people make British Airways stand out, so we invest heavily in them. In addition to the skills and knowledge that you will develop on the job, we will support you to gain your professional CIMA, ACA (ICAEW) or ACCA qualification. You’ll be encouraged and supported to achieve your full potential, which is evident from the senior positions our past finance graduates have gone on to fulfil.

What we are looking for

As a future business leader you will demonstrate our core leadership capabilities and behaviours – the ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively with our stakeholders and take responsibility for delivering what you have promised.

We are looking for exceptional graduates that are insightful, innovative, passionate, high performing and driven.

You need to have, or be predicted to have, a minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline, as well as the right to live and work full time in the UK.
