Finance and Administrative Officer (0.4 FTE)

We are looking for an outstanding Finance and Administrative Officer for 14 hours per week, spread over at least 3 days, to work primarily with the finance team, but also in other areas of office support and general assistance. A large proportion of the role is of a finance administration nature but in order to fulfil the whole role you’ll be expected to use many different skills and qualities and know when to use them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Finance administration tasks, including: Receive invoices & prepare and enter purchase ledger for authorisation process; Supplier liaison re payments / details; Research and investigate anomalies and outstanding items; Setting up bank payment transfers; Working out travellers’ finance needs; Issuing petty cash to UK staff; Analysing expense payments & seeking authorisation from the Management Team.
  • Office / general administration tasks, including: Answering the phone; Attending to reception duties; Setting up staff meetings / booking rooms for other meetings; Opening the post, dealing with the franking machine, doing the post; Assisting with any aspects of events or large meetings as required; Stationery orders.
  • Other finance and general administration tasks.
