Country Head of Finance - Gabon

Our Client - A global leader in Supply Chain, Logistics and Freight Forwarding, are currently recruiting for a Country Head of Finance for their operation in Gabon.

Job Description – The Country Head of Finance is responsible for all finance, accounting and tax related matters. Together with Corporate Treasury (s) he is also responsible for the financial result of the country. (S)he monitors and manages the risks / exposures for all business units/ of the Country, drives value creation initiatives and ensures high quality and timely reporting for Region, Group and statutory/legal reporting.

Candidate Requirements –

• Proven People Management and Leadership skills (Recruitment/Selection/Training & Development/Coaching/Conflict Management/Performance Management)
• Project Management Skills
• Ability to prepare and work with reports
• Cost optimization oriented
• Ability to work under pressure (tight dead lines)
• Is familiar with entrepreneurial and strategic matters
• High degree of accountability, credibility and assertiveness
• Organizational skills (prioritize, plan, assign & control)
• Ability to work with different cultures and to manage cross functional interfaces
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player
• IAS-Knowledge
• University Degree / technical high school and/or CPA
• Management experience of at least 3 years
• Deep understanding of financial and cost accounting
• Tax experience
• Fluent in French and English
