Assistant Controller - Credit Manager Construction Technique

Job description 
We are looking for a highly motivated, result oriented Assistant Controller/ Credit Manager to support the growing business for Construction Techniques Business Area in the Middle East.The position will report directly to the Regional Business Controller of the Construction Technique business area. The Assistant Controller/ Credit Manager is responsible to make sure that "The Way We Do Things" is followed in all aspects. The most important issues to address are the following: Controller Support Part;·Participate in the monthly financial closing procedures for responsible territory (Construction Techniques territory).·Participate in planning process for responsible territory.·Follow up pending financial issues with Atlas Copco Business Services.·Support in monthly analysis of cost and revenue by regions/ FAM codes/ Divisions/ BAs·Support the Regional Business Controller in different day to day financial/ administrative activities·Support in controlling inventory in the region and day to day work with logistics/ Aftermarket departmentsCredit Manager Part;·Create a credit risk management environment of an acceptable quality in terms of established credit guidelines. ·Develop sound, acceptable credit policy for Construction Techniques (as an additional document for a legal Credit policy).·Analyze delinquent accounts and prepare reports on highest risk accounts including recommendations for resolution.·Interact with customers to obtain additional credit information to support credit lines. ·Reconcile transactions and balances to maintain accurate accounts ·Initiate credits and adjustments to customer accounts within company policy limits. ·Submit requests to senior management and supporting documentation for accounts requiring credit lines (if any).·Maintain bad debt and bad debt provisions records (as per The way We Do Things).·Monitor receivables and collections and provide updates of receivables and provide appropriate reporting procedures. ·Identify problem accounts and provide regular updates of receivables to management. ·Develop tool/s for transparent and clear collection (Collection database).

Mission 
As an Assistant Controller, and through an accurate, relevant and timely business and financial analysis, the position will support the Regional Business Controller and the CR general management in making effective business decisions. As a Credit Manager, the person shall re-organize the collection process; improve all administrative processes in order to have more efficiency in the customer center.You will be a key member of the Construction Techniques Team and will be a driving force for the Company’s overall financial performance and image.

Experience requirements 
-Minimum 5 years of solid experience in Finance and Controlling and Atlas Copco Reporting as per FAM codes and working knowledge of Atlas Copco finance and administration procedures (FAM).-Excellent computer skills and knowledge of FAM and Atlas Copco ERP systems ( SCALA , GPS, etc..).-Familiar with IFRS and Local statutory rules is a solid plus.-Business analysis skills with professional experience in finance and business administration.-Strong focus on quality, accuracy, deadlines and orderly work.-Analytical approach to problem solving and risk management.

Knowledge 
-Excellent communication and presentation skills.-Must have a strong desire to succeed in a very dynamic environment-Must demonstrate initiative and innovation in problem solving and anticipating business needs-Proven leadership skills and ability in cooperating with others in Business Control and risk management-Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.-Fluent in spoken and written English. Arabic is a plus

-University degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Business Administration
